About this sheet
What is on the page, and how to get the most out of it.

A G is a C with a horizontal bar tucked into it. If the C sheet has already been done, this one is mostly a matter of adding one short stroke, which is why the two belong near each other.
The bar is small and it sits inside the curve rather than at an edge, so it needs more placement accuracy than its size suggests. Children often draw it too long, so it pokes out of the letter, or attach it at the wrong height. Neither is worth much correction at this stage.
The gift box is the most geometric picture in this part of the alphabet: straight edges, right angles, and a ribbon crossing the middle. It is a good contrast to the letter, which is almost all curve, and it gives a child who finds curves hard something they can trace confidently.
