What is on the page, and how to get the most out of it.
A dotted wristwatch with a strap and clock face to trace and colour, a dotted uppercase W beneath, and the line W for Watch.
A W is four diagonal strokes with three points between them, two at the bottom and one in the middle at the top. That is more direction changes than any other letter in the alphabet.
Expect it to come out uneven for a long while. The two halves are rarely the same width at first, and the middle point often does not rise as high as the outer edges. Neither matters at this stage.
The pairing to be careful about is W and M. One is the other upside down, and children who learn both close together frequently produce the wrong one. If you have done the M sheet recently, leave this a few weeks.
The watch is the most detailed picture in the last stretch of the alphabet, with a strap, a round face and hands. It is a slow sheet rather than a quick one.

Common questions
My child writes W as an M.
They are the same shape inverted, so this is very common. If you have done the M sheet recently, leave a few weeks before coming to this one.
The two halves of the W are different sizes.
